Wellbeing Space

About Sambhaavnayein
I founded Sambhaavnayein in October 2020 with the vision of co-creating emotionally safe and non-judgemental space as a trained and ethically practicing mental health professional. Sambhaavnayein means possibilities.
I believe that possibilities unfold with each door that we open or close. An open door came to me as an image and a metaphor to a life with possibilities. Current possibilities that I envision with this practice is to curate well being workshops, provide therapy, share my thoughts through visual art and writing, and offer merchandise (sooon!).
I believe that society often conditions us to make binary choices or feel limited in our choices related to career, relationships, politics. As individuals we don't have to make a choice between this or that and it could be this and that if we want it to be. I have used art as a coping mechanism and a medium of expression long before I knew these words. I have been studying psychology since 2014 and have continued to feel passionate about the field since then. Little did I know that there exists a professional field which combines my two interests: art therapy!
Services Offered
Art therapy
Art Therapy is a clinical and evidence-based practice that uses art media as a mode to express and communicate. It enhances emotional, mental, and physical well-being, tailored to individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship.
Group Therapy
Group therapy is a supportive environment where individuals come together to share their experiences and challenges led by a trained therapist, participants engage in discussions that foster understanding, connection, and healing. This collaborative approach allows members to learn from one another, gain new perspectives, and develop coping strategies in a safe space. Whether addressing mental health issues, personal growth, or relationship dynamics, group therapy can be a powerful tool for transformation and support.
Talk therapy
Verbal interaction is primary mode of communication in these sessions.
Somatic Stress Release
It supports in expanding one's capacity to be with their bodies and nervous system. It helps complete the body's natural cycle of processing stress. It helps one learn how to BE WITH their feelings instead of thinking AT them. The focus of the sessions is to identify internal responses to stressors, and mobilize that energy towards restoration and ease.
Supervision
Supervision is a collaborative process to helps practitioners navigate challenges, learn new skills and stay updated with best practices in their field and take care of themselves. I offer clinical supervision informed by creative processes and psychological theories. Clinical supervision fosters professional development, promotes ethical practice, and ultimately improves client outcomes.
Workshops and Training
We design and facilitate workshops to support wellbeing for people across developmental ages and diverse settings. We also offer workshop and training opportunities for continued learning of budding and young therapists.
